The Ogun State Police Command Public
Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi has
confirmed that a 23 year old bride-to-be,
Omolara Oluwagbemi Abosede has allegedly
killed her fiancé, Sodiq Dauda on October 18, in
Ijebu-Ode town of Ogun State, after an
argument.
Mr Oyeyemi said Omolara killed her fiancé two
months to their wedding and has been arrested
before being charged for murder.
Omolara was said to have killed her fiancé after
Dauda asked her to give a full account of a Gas
business he had given her, Dauda beat her
before Omolara got hold of a knife and stabbed
him in the rib. Dauda was rushed to Ijebu-Ode
General Hospital where he eventually died.
The suspect has been transferred to homicide
section of state criminal investigation and
Intelligence Department for further questioning.
